‘Eating in Freedom’ Book Review

Eating in Freedom is a piece of literature that was written by a man who had at one time eaten an entire gallon of ice cream at once. After almost freezing his stomach he decided it was time for a change.

The Author’s Story

Not only did the man (Tom McGregor) who wrote this book eat a whole gallon of ice cream in one sitting (his roommate’s ice cream rather), but he also did the following: He had a chocolate habit which cost him an average of $28.00 a day, and he could eat a (big) bag of cookies within minutes.

He would try to go on a juice fast, but still battled against his craving for all sorts of bad foods. At one point, (presumably before he tried the juice fast) he had gone to the gym. He did start to gain more discipline but still had a long ways to go.

He did exercise regularly but still had to combat the food issue somehow. He continued on an on for years trying and failing. In his book Eating in Freedom, Tom McGregor reveals how he finally mastered control over food.

Of course, you have to read the book in order to learn what his secret is. However, he testifies to no longer being a slave to food today. He also says that he is healthy and full of vitality.
